Cops needed to call for back-up to detain a rampaging wild monkey that raided their station stealing food.
A male crab-eating macaque emerged from a nearby jungle and grabbed snacks from the office in Loei, northeast Thailand last Saturday (25/01) morning.
The juvenile monkey bit two cops and pulled over sets of drawers spilling papers as police chased him out of the station.
Undeterred, the young offender returned to the crime scene on Monday (Jan 27) to try and steal more food. But the bobbies were waiting and already had the local animal catchers on standby.
