Det kan jeg godt se. Nu er det en del år siden jeg boede der. Koreanerne har måske på et tidligt tidspunkt taget problemet alvorligt og fået rettet op. Godt gået. Det var faneme' slemt med smog den gang. Specielt om eftermiddagen.

Chiang Mai is a beautiful place but sadly is awful for several months of the year due to burning. Smoke blankets the entire North of Thailand making the place unbearable for those that live there and jeopardizing the health of all. This video has been made to heighten the issue. Every year the powers that be say it will not be as bad as last year - action will be taken to thwart illegal burning. Sadly nothing is done, it's a matter of fleeing or holding your breath and staying indoors as much as possible until the rains come. This year, 2013, has been as bad, and is currently worse, than last year. By all means visit Chiang Mai - just don't come here during the burning season if your health, and your lungs, are important to you.
