The suspension of train services in the southern routes for seven days
had affected the confidence of the private sector, Pornsilp Patcharintrakul,
deputy secretary-general at the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), said on Friday.
Mr Pornsilp called on the State Railway of Thailand (SRT)
labour union to comply with the law and the regulations of
the SRT when trying to settle conflict with the management.
He also suggested the government reform the whole SRT
system to ensure a better service.
