Central Pattaya Floods Send 4 Meter Python up Coconut Tree


At 12.30, on September 28, officials retrieved a four meter long python from a coconut tree behind a house on Soi 14, Pattaya Klang.

The python was spotted at the top of the ten meter tree having climbed it the previous evening, presumably to avoid the floods.

Officers climbed up but the snake had wrapped itself tightly around the branches. Eventually they got it down.

The foreign owner of the house admitted he is superstitious and that the big python could bring him some good fortune and so he asked to be photographed with it.
